Before a remote session
- Confirm you initiated contact with a known provider
- Close banking tabs you do not need open
- Know how to disconnect (kill switch / quit the tool)
- Prefer attending the session so you can watch
During the session
- Grant only the access needed
- Do not share MFA codes with anyone who called you unsolicited
- Watch for unexpected file transfers
